Key Ingredients
Shea Butter (Butyspermum Parkii Seed Butter)
Obtained from the nut of the karite nut tree. A natural cellular renewal ingredient, it has excellent moisturizing and nourishing abilities as well as being a natural sunblock.
L-Arginine
An essential amino acid, used as a skin conditioner and soother. This amino acid activates the production of protein, expedites wound healing, and prevents tissue deterioration.
Arnica Montana Flower Extract
Has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, meaning it helps kill harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and viruses. Arnica contains fatty acids and oils, as well as flavonoids, tannins, carotenoids and other phytochemicals, which are potent antioxidant substances found in plants. The exact mechanism of action of arnica is unknown; however, the anti-inflammatory effect is attributed to as substance in it called helenalin.
Calendula Flower Extract (Calendula Officinalis)
Derived from marigold flowers; Calendula is classified as an anti-inflammatory and is often used to treat itching, flaking, weeping skin conditions. It is a wonderful, emollient oil that has a soothing effect on the skin and is an effective ally in treating water retention, cellulite, and special needs of mature skin.
Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera Biennis)
Derived from the plant; a good source of fatty acids (gamma-linolenic and linoleic), which helps to replenish and soften.
Pomegranate (Punica granatum L)
Pomegranate acts as a catalyst and antioxidant booster, thus improving the efficacy of the other ingredients.
